Honaunau Farm: A Regenerative Living Education Center & Retreat
Developing on 7.5 acres on the Big Island, Honaunau Farm is a working farm striving to go beyond sustainability toward being regenerative. It is located on the hills of Mauna Loa with sweeping views of Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau's City of Refuge. It is nestled in the perfect place to model an integrated holistic approach to a new way of farming and living in community. Honaunau Farm is dedicated to being a conscious model of food diversity, self sufficiency and regenerative living. The farm looks toward the whole picture; caring for the land, the animals, and the community.
The farm offers guest accommodations, private retreats, farm classes, wellness services and tours. The farm has dozens of different types of trees and plants growing that are integrated with the animals. The animals include chickens, ducks, rabbits, sheep and goats. Steve currently owns and operates the farm with the help of his partner and community. www.honaunaufarm.com
